Religions like Christianity and Islam say that homosexuals (who are not abstinent) will go to hell. I’ve never been in a same-sex relationship before (I’m 16 and only came out several months ago).
I’m not religious in a sense that I am affiliated with an organized religion, but I do have my own beliefs although sometimes I’m unsure about it.
Anyway, a lot of people say different things. Some say that homosexuals don’t go to Hell, and others say they do. So am I going to Hell because I’m a lesbian?

So god works through people right? And people have free will right? So did god make everyone with a vision in mind of the choices they were going to make in life?
I have a choice tomorrow.
I can:
A.) Rob a bank
B.) Go to school.
Regardless of the two choices I can only live one reality. Now even though it’s MY choice, how do I know it’s really MY choice? How do I wasn’t MEANT to make a set of choices from the instant god created me?
So are how can I be sure that predestination isn’t real. (NOT SAYING PREDESTINATION AND THE BIBLE ARE AFFILIATED.)
I just find this interesting.
Even if you don’t believe in god, this is still a good thing to consider.
Despite what we think, are we bound to a certain fate regardless of what we think?
And by saying that god didn’t make us knowing what we’d do with our free will, then does that mean god can’t see the future? Then how would he know what people he would work through to make this world a better place? (Atheists Ignore this paragraph.)

I don’t know what to do! For these past few months at night, while I’m listening to the BBC, as I will do at home, because I like schedules, and suddenly the urge to convert to christianity will overcome me.
As far as I’m able to deduce, it is possible that as opposed to pressing a Carrier in law, I am to forgo law school and attend seminary instead.
I love history and I am a political science major. I know next to nothing about religion.
When I was a little younger, like 17, I wanted to be a minister. My nickname was the most high reverend and I would do funny things like bless people at debate tournaments. Now 7 years later I find myself wanting to embrace god again. The only reason I don’t do that is because I wouldn’t be sure what to do the next day. As in ‘what are the rules I would follow?” Type thing. I also have no social support, at all, because I’ve lost all of my friends since I was 17. I live with my parents and am a 2.5 gpa student, not spectacular. Also, I’m very shy and I”m not so sure what kind of a minister I would make because I’m not good in group settings Although I am a master orator. So, in conclusion, I don’t know is this the normal process by which god calls one to the ministry? What do I do next? Why would god call me?
