I am applying to University of Findlay and I saw that its religious affiliation is “Church of God”. I belong to a roman catholic church and I have gotten my baptism, first communion, and confirmation. I go to church almost every Sunday and I am a pretty religous person. I wanted to know what the church of god is and what it means if a college is affiliated with it. Also, i am applying to another university that is a jesuit university. what does that mean?

Back in April I met a couple people on campus who were evangelizing to people and I was one of the people that they sat down with and started to talk to me about the gospel. I was a little skeptical at first because I did and still believe that there is a higher power, a god as you may call him, and that no matter the religion we are affiliated with, we can come together as a society when we need to and overcome and challenge that comes our way. I eventually became a christian because they gave me more insight about Jesus and god and how they can be apart of their lives. Ever since then I’ve been reading bible and learning about God and how if w you follow god’s word, you will ascend into the kingdom and gain eternal life. The only problem with that is one question? When will god answer my prayers. Although I’ve made a whole bunch of new friends since then, I’m still trapped in this state of loneliness and depression. The only people I can rely on are musicians in bands. The stuff that I listen to is basically heavy metal like Disturbed, Machine Head, Metallica, Trivium, and so on. These bands have influenced me to play guitar and to start writing poetry/song structure ideas. When this comes across people, they immediately deem me insane or violent while there are Other songs that are equally or more aggressive than what I’ve ever wrote. I’ve written probably over 50 ideas and trying to put music to it, but I’m being put down by people who think I’m not supposed to write anything cause it’s too violent and what not. I can’t even remember scriptures, I only remember lyrics from heavy metal songs such as “give your soul to me, for eternity” and “The Halo over our demise, following a god so blind.” I need a little more insight on this issue cause I truly don’t understand Gods ways, or if i ever wanted to.

Funny you claiming the same beech that I’m penetrating
Hold the bottles up where my comrades

I feel that God is not walking beside me, but pushing me away like I’m a twisted monster. I’m now questioning my faith. Is god just waiting to show himself to me in the future, or will I be turned away from him just like everyone else in my life. I thought that the bible would help me, give me insight, give me meaningful words to dwell upon, but nothing. I can’t even remember scriptures, I only remember lyrics from heavy metal songs such as “give your soul to me, for eternity” and “The Halo over our demise, following a god so blind.” I need a little more insight on this issue cause I truly don’t understand Gods ways, or if i ever wanted to.

Why do you celebrate Christmas when it is a pagan holiday i am Christan and i don’t celebrate it.
A Roman calendar drawn up by a “Christian” in 354 A.D. (The Codex Calendar of 354) shows December 25 to be the birthday of Sol Invictus. Not only is it listed as a pagan birthday; but, it is listed as the most important pagan birthday of the whole year. It was celebrated in the Roman Circus with extra chariot races. This is the sun god that Constantine the Great worshipped while claiming to be a “Christian.” His coins state that he was “committed to Sol Invictus.” Constantines’ form of “Christianity” continues to influence Christianity today. December 25th is just one example. Satan wants to be “God.” The first four commandments tell us who “God” really is. Satan hates that and has done everything possible to abrogate those commandments. Calling December 25th the birthday of Jesus is nothing less than sticking a pagan god in the face of the “God” of the Bible – a direct violation of the first commandment.
The bottom line is that there are no reliable historical documents that would place the birth of Jesus on December 25th. On the other hand, there is overwhelming documentation that the birthday of many of the sun gods of antiquity was recognized as December 25th.
The abominable worship of Tammuz, as spoken of in the book of Ezekiel, is related to December 25th. Today visitors to Bethlehem are taken to a subterranean cave, under the “Church of the Nativity” and are told that Jesus was born there on December 25th. It was Helena, the mother of Constantine, who declared that site to be the birth place of Christ. Jesus was not born there. It is a pagan sun worship cave in honor of Tammuz. The “church” historian Jerome, who wrote the Latin “Vulgate” tells us that Tammuz was worshipped there. He ought to know. His school was right next door. In fact, the back door of his school leads into the temple of Tammuz. In spite of all these facts, thousands of unknowing Christians bow down and kiss the spot in the niche where the idol of Tammuz was placed. Although theologians know, they will not tell people the truth. They will be held accountable. look up christmas history and then tell me are you still going to celebrate it?

So I have concluded that every combination of phonemes in the scriptures signify something
AB = voice cries out
As in Abraham = voice of the nations cries out
and Abel = blood cries out to the lord from the ground
and
AD = take an interest in you
Adam = who took an interest in Eve
Adah = who took an interest Lamech (which caused her share her husband with another man)
Eb = beauty
Ebeniezer = God is my help
Jezebel = Beauty
I plan on using this system to interpret every name in 1st and 2nd Chronicles… I am thinking of calling it the “secret scroll.”
