So I’ve been in a relationship technically for 4 years. Two years with a real jerk starting at age 15, then another two years with a great guy starting at 17 and lasting until a few weeks ago at age 19. Most of our relationship was long distance (2hrs) because we go to different universities. So the only new “friend” I made at college was my roommate. We were both always gone on the weekends seeing our boyfriends and weren’t very social because we both didn’t need to be at the time. Bf’s were our life.
Well my most recent Ex thought it would be best to break up because I was the only girlfriend he had ever had and so I don’t really blame him. The sucky part is that we still care for each other and didn’t end on bad terms.
ANYWAYS, HERE IS THE QUESTION:
I feel like a new student at my University because I don’t know anyone, and it’s the end of the school year pretty much. I am a sophomore and will be a junior next fall. I have like one or two close friends from High school who I can confide in for now, but will it be hard to find a group of girlfriends to hang out with? I am getting anxious and nervous about my future now and if I will be a loner for the rest of my life. Did anyone transfer from a Comm. College to a University and feel the same way? I feel like everyone already has their niche that they built during freshman year in the dorms.

Let’s pretend Mitt Romney had won in 2008 and done exactly what Obama has done….
Obama kept Guantanamo open. He kept Bush’s indefinite detention policies. He kept Bush’s state secrets arguments to shield the government from any lawsuits. He kept Bush’s guy (Bernanke) as the head of the Federal Reserve. He signed a health care “reform” bill into law whose centerpiece is an “individual mandate” (which is a Republican “market based” solution from the early 90s that Mitt Romney, a Republican, instituted at the state level in MA a few years ago). He tripled the number of troops in Afghanistan. He has committed about 50,000 troops to Iraq indefinitely (he claims they’re non-combat troops and that the war is over). He signed a bill to keep the tax rates on the “rich” the same as they were during the Bush years.
What if Mitt Romney, for instance, had done all this?

Me and my friends have a heated debate about this. I know that nobody truly knows or can predict what would have happened so please no answers saying that. I always say that singers are products and when there is a place for one in the market they form a guy or girl to fit that spot. When the late great Aaliyah passed(RIP Babygirl) it was a spot in the market for a tom-boy that could dance well and not really sing. I believe some executive out there saw that niche in the market when Aaliyah passed away and they crafted Ciara. I don’t think if Aaliyah ever died we would even know who Ciara was. She was only crafted to take Aaliyah spot in the industry. Thank about it, Rhianna is holding the spot in the industry for the edgy black rock girl and Beyonce is holding the spot the Diana Ross held in the 60s the super glammed up black woman. What do you guys think?
