So I have to debate on why smoking cigarettes shouldn’t be banned.
How do I defend when someone says it causes lung cancer?
and also, how do I respond to second-hand smoke?

Dick Cheney on Benghazi
“”They ignored repeated warnings from the CIA about the threat. They ignored messages from their own people on the ground that they needed more security. They reduced what was already there. And the administration either had no forces ready to respond to an attack, which should have been anticipated on the anniversary of 9/11, or they refused to deploy them when our people asked for help.”
Maureen Dowd
New York Times
The administration’s behavior before and during the attack in Benghazi, in which four Americans died, was unworthy of the greatest power on earth.
President Obama knew he was sending diplomats and their protectors into a country that was no longer a country, a land rife with fighters affiliated with Al Qaeda.
Yet in this hottest of hot spots, the State Department’s minimum security requirements were not met, requests for more security were rejected, and contingency plans were not drawn up, despite the portentous date of 9/11 and cascading warnings from the C.I.A
The defense secretary at the time, Leon Panetta, insisted, “We quickly responded.” But they responded that they would not respond.http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/12/opinio…
Cheney and Dowd AGREE !
Let that sink in !

I’ve applied to Roehampton university as a study abroad student. My GPA is lower than that they accept, but my adviser (the person who is helping me with the application process and such) said that Roehampton is usually pretty flexible and easy to work with. I explained to them, too, why my GPA is as low as it is and the affiliate from Roehampton said she thought that they could take me.
But, still, I’d like to know from others who’ve went to this uni how hard it is to get into.
(Also, if you have any other information that you’d like to share about this university, then please do! It would be much appreciated.)

My older sister just got rejected-which is unfair, because she deserves to get in far more than other people going there. My parents went to UT, my grandparents went to UT, and we’ve always grown up pretty much planning on going to UT. She’s an excellent student, and a very hard worker. Mostly A’s and a few B’s (overall is an A though-and she hasn’t gotten a C once all throughout high school, or at all, to my knowledge) at an one of the most elite and well-regarded private schools in the Metroplex. She plays varsity sports, and she’s good at it. She volunteers all the time. She got around a 2100 on the SAT. We’re both part of a Masonic-affiliated service organization, and she’s about to become the head of the entire state-and UT actually has a tenuous connection to the organization, through the Scottish Rite Dorm. People say I’m smarter, and maybe I am, but I always knew my sister would get farther because she’s more organized and works harder than anyone I know. She deserved to get in, and would have done well if she had. Even so, I know someone who was rejected from UT, but accepted into Harvard! You would think it’d be the other way around.

I am a Boston based person looking for any specialty shops that carry hard-to-find or niche perfumes, I’m sure there must be some out there, but web searches haven’t helped. Any suggestions? Thank you.
