Ok, so i have been dating my girlfriend for just over 10 months and it’s going really well. I’m English and she’s Russian (Obviously) and we met at University through a society. Since then we have been getting on really well, she’s fantastic and she’s studying Fashion so she knows how to dress to impress. Her father sent her here to study in England and paid for all her fees up front. Whenever she needs money, her father will send her money to support her. She told her father & mother that she was dating an English guy (me) and they told her to bring me over to Russia to meet them, so we went over to Russia to meet them. When i got there, we pulled up to this huge estate set on a few aches of land, big huge gates at the front of house, and surveillance every 20 ft until the entrance. It really felt like i was about to enter a high security building like the White house or something. When we got there my girlfriend’s mother showed us in and made me feel really welcome, but her father was out on “business” at the time. Anyway, my girlfriend showed me around and took me to the stables to show me her horses. Well after we finished, we walked back to the house and her father got out of a black limousine with a briefcase, so my girlfriend ran over to him and hugged him, he looked delighted to see her. Then he came to me and shook my hand (really hard lol) and said in thick broken English “Hello [my name] nice to meet you, hope you are treating my daughter well” i was little intimidated to be honest. Anyway, we all went out later that evening for dinner at the local restaurant, which was a really nice place.
To cut a long story short, my girlfriend’s father’s phone rang, he looked at it and went outside to speak. He came back in to the restaurant and finished dinner, then said he had to go deal with some business. His wife and my girlfriend looked fine about it, he then gave some money to his wife, then left. When my girlfriend and her mother got back to the house, 5 guys, 3 dressed in black suits, 1 in a silver suit who looked quite slick, and another guy who was dressed in a long leather jacket with a tattoo on the side of his neck were saying “goodbye” to my girlfriend’s father. We then went in the house, i went to the toilet and heard my girlfriend’s father getting irate on the phone in Russian.
Anyway, me and my girlfriend spent 1 month in Russia in which her father paid for everything we did! I kept seeing different guys, all looking slick (hair back) etc. I’m just curious as to whether my girlfriend’s father is Mafia affiliated. I did ask my girlfriend about 3 weeks ago what her father does, and she said he owns businesses but doesn’t know much about his work life. This made me think he could be Mafia Affiliated, do you think? I’m worried in case my girlfriend and i broke up, he could end up sending someone to kill me or something.

I’m due to give birth in June and i’m 23yo. I regret falling pregnant (although, I still love my little baby and am quite looking forward to being a Mum) without establishing some type of niche in a career. I’m finding with the worries of the pregnancy and buying our first house, planning a wedding, that although I wanted all these things in life, I never developed a career. I jumped from degree to degree in the earlier years of my life, took a few yrs off from studying but have finally decided to go with Primary School teaching. I’m not having any luck in getting the prerequisites required and now fretting about will I ever really have a career. I can’t afford to physically attend Uni (I would do a degree online) as we can’t afford childcare and my partner wants me to stay as a stay at home mum until bub goes to school.
Have any other mums or even dads gone through this type of dilemma….and how do you go about working it out?

I have a lot of epic dreams but this one stood out more than most because it was so realistic. I could even make out every single hair on a character’s head in the dream. It was also very odd and seemed to apply to my life but i cannot figure it all out. So here is what happened:
I’m walking though a big city, there are many people walking all around me. These people are all wearing suits, and gray and emotionless. I seem to be the only thing in color in the whole city. I am compelled to find my way back to this heaven-like place, where I feel as if i had been to in a previous dream. I am so compelled to go back to this place I feel as if I would do anything to go back, and escape this gray city.Then a voice in my head tells me to find this special tree. I am distressed because there are no trees in this city, but then I look to the side and there is suddenly colorful, not gray garden, which is surrounded by these big cream colored walls blocking it out from the rest of the city. I walk into the garden and find the tree. I climb the tree and the voice tells me to close my eyes and say some word three times. I do it and I suddenly appear in a dark room, that seemed to be carved out of a mountain. The room is full of people that all have huge guns and seem to be part of a black market. I am with a group of my friends that I had met previously before in the heaven-like place. We start speaking this language that I have never heard, but seem to know, to try and coax our way out of this place without being killed. We barley make it out of the cavern, and suddenly appear in the heaven-like place. I know this place, and its whole being fills me with joy. It is a grassy green field. The sun is sparkling and the whole place is shining. Where the field ends there is a sparkling ocean, and behind the field are some mountains. In the middle of the field is a house, but the house is a giant teapot with a wooden door. Gravity is light in this place and you could easily jump 6 feet high with ease. My friends and I start jumping and having fun, but i feel as if i am the slowest and the weakest (much like real life) and I cannot run and jump as fast or as well as the others. One of my friends is amazingly gorgeous and can jump the highest and run the fastest. I envy her and suddenly I feel as if i can barley run anymore, which distresses me almost to a point of insanity. But, then my friends interrupt my failed attempts at running and jumping. They tell me of their plans. My friends and I are apparently some organization created to protect this dragon creature from these authorities that are set on destroying it. The teapot house is our secret head quarters and we hid the dragon in a cavern to the side of the field. I am told that the field is to never be discovered or else this important dragon will be killed. I then agree to help protect the dragon and keep their secrets. I suddenly spot a castle to the corner of the field and run towards it. I walk into the castle and there is a party going on. I am suddenly told that I am the princess of the castle. I feel very important, and proceed to explore my new castle. I walk into a dark office-like hallway. I open one of the doors on the side, and there is a very tall girl with blonde and brunette hair. This girl immediately strikes me as odd and not quite mentally sane, so I am very mean to her for no reason and shut the door. I feel as if I CAN be mean to her because I am the princess and I can do what ever I want. I open the next door in the hallway, and the same girl is in that room also. All she does is stare at me from the dark room. I open another door and she is in that room also. I open every door in the hallway, only to find the same girl just standing there. I now know I cannot escape this hallway without apologizing to this girl. I open one of the doors and apologize. I talk to her for a little while and leave. When I leave the castle I feel remorseful that I was so selfish and mean to this girl. I return back to the teapot house, only to find the dragon creature dead. I was supposed to protect it but instead I had gone to the castle. I feel horrible that I that had gotten so distracted by the castle, that I killed the poor creature.
After I find the dragon dead, I wake up. Any ideas what it could mean??

My father-in-law has been very sick for the past few years (he’s had a pacemaker for the past 4 years and has suffered with his kidneys for the past 6 years, he’s also been suffering with diabetes for the past 6 years). His health became much worse this past March when his blood pressure continued to drop and his heart rate increased drastically. That was the first time they had to revive him at least 3 times in that one visit. He wound up being admitted for a month. He has lost the use of his legs since then. Unfortunately, he had an accident when he fell back on his tailbone and suffers with the pain b/c he can’t walk and lays on his back or sits all day. Ever since his March hospitalization, he’s been in and out of the hospital at least 1-2 times a month and has been going to dialysis minimum 3 days a week, sometimes daily. In his most recent visit he was hospitalized for 6 weeks as they found infection in his pancreas and colon and he had to have surgery. He now wears a coloscopy bag. He has lost so much energy and appears to be hallucinating a lot lately. He says he hears voices and sees faces of loved ones who have passed. The other night my sister-in-law found him hanging from the bars of his hospital bed yelling her name; he says he doesn’t remember how he got there. He keeps saying he sees his ex-wife (my husband’s mother) who passed away more than 10 years ago. He also keeps swatting the air as if there are flies around him. (Last year he claimed he heard running through the house and saw a little kid as well as he saw red eyes staring at him; my niece also claimed she saw butterflies that she kept swatting away around the same time that no one else could see) My husband’s family seems to be convinced there are spirits in the house. But, I was wondering if these images and sounds could be affiliated with all the medication he’s on and his lack of sleep in the hospital, not to mention his diet (he’s restricted to baby food until he heals and is able to eat solids again). He’s been sleeping all day since he got released from the hospital this weekend. He’s constantly moaning and struggling to open his eyes, but when you talk to him or try to touch him, he jerks and just moans…doesn’t say anything. Has anyone experienced this with a loved one? Special note: My husband’s family is from the islands and believes in spirits, as they think deceased loved ones are trying to communicate with my father-in-law. I am not saying I necessarily believe this is true or not; I’m just curious if anyone has witnessed what I have described with a loved one before and what your thoughts are. Any insight into what my father-in-law is experiencing would be appreciated? This is a very critical time in my family. I am thankful for your time and thoughts.

Not just the biggest issue but the biggest UNITING issue.
Expand the house of representatives. Can the peoples’ house really represent the people with 700,000 constituents to every one representative? Wouldn’t we all be better represented with more representatives? I am not a spammer or affiliated with this website but i am really excited about what they are advocating at http://thirty-thousand.org/. I don’t know what ideology this comes from but I really don’t care either. I think this is truly something everyone can get behind. In my opinion, this may even make it harder for huge special interests to control our legislature which really is what our biggest hurdle to common sense solutions is. Do you think this is a good idea? Why or why not?
