One Change: Religion spread across Silk Road ad influenced culture. In the later century Islam Spread around1100’s. Ibn Batuta traveled from West Africa to China. There was a huge growth of monotheism.
One Continuity: There was always market all throughout Asia for silk. China was very careful of not giving out the Secret. By 500 AD someone smuggled the Silk and took all the way to Byzantine Empire. No civilization as stable and advanced as China.

Religions like Christianity and Islam say that homosexuals (who are not abstinent) will go to hell. I’ve never been in a same-sex relationship before (I’m 16 and only came out several months ago).
I’m not religious in a sense that I am affiliated with an organized religion, but I do have my own beliefs although sometimes I’m unsure about it.
Anyway, a lot of people say different things. Some say that homosexuals don’t go to Hell, and others say they do. So am I going to Hell because I’m a lesbian?

There are MORE muslims than you in your own country! That says something now its only fair to let us live by our religion. Islam is great and soon you all will convert (If you want mercy).
“Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.”
(Quran 24:35)

As opposed to other religions that are not labeled as political ideologies but merely faiths, yet have more politicians in the Congress affiliated with them.

Someday we will make contact with a sentient species from another planet or galaxy, I am completely positive about that. What I was wondering is, if our species are gonna be in contact with each other constantly then it will be quite obvious that at some point we will try breeding with each other. How would all major religions deal with this (i.e Islam, Catholicism, Buddhism, Hinduism)? Would they be ok with it? Or would they call it bestiality?
I posted this here because I wanted to know what you guys think. If you are not affiliated with any religion that’s okay, just try to answer with an open mind.

I consider myself somewhat of an agnostic. I completely understand why we don’t believe in the gods of certain religions, especially those of Christianity and Islam.
However I’m talking about a general creator of it all, not one affiliated with any man-made religion.
I know this is deism, and that’s actually what I’m talking about.
Even though I don’t believe in the gods of man’s religions I still find it very hard to believe that emotion, consciousness, and the ability to even ponder these things is simply a result of chemical processes in the brain. I can’t help but think that my mind is part of something more than just this nonliving Universe. I myself doubt the notion that I, a conscious, thinking human, am just a product of an accident.
I want the atheist opinion. Can we automatically rule out a creator?
