I feel lately that I don’t have much control over my life, that I’m somewhat helpless to change things and that I’m not really worth people’s time or attention. It doesn’t help that most of my friends have moved on after graduation and are either getting married and having kids or leaving state. I just got my first post-grad job and I start a week from Monday, but I’m just a little bummed out lately that I’m kind of standing still and am a little lonely. I also feel that I haven’t been living as much as I would like. Meaning in high school I didn’t get involved (mostly due to me having moved here right before freshman year and my mom being really controlling of where/when/what I did) and in college I didn’t really find a niche either (and I wish I had transferred after freshman year since the rest of the experience wasn’t worth the money I spent that I could have gotten elsewhere). What do I do?

I just got a job working at babies r us and my brother wanted to work at Toys R Us. is it legal for him to apply there, or could we potentially both lose our jobs? they are different stores but still affiliated.

We have an elitist mormon, and a socialist kenyan. There both absolutely horrifying. I really hope you people dont put that much faith into these men. Obama is an epic fail and Romney is no better. So what really drives you to support either of them???
Just to point out. Obamacare will make it virtually impossible for you an I, (Unless born into a wealthy family) to start a small business. Why? For any employee you hire, you have to provide health insurance. If not, you get a hefty fine. As if it wasnt hard enough. Job creator? More like job killer. Fail. As if food stamps, and welfare wasnt enough for lazy morons with 7 kids they couldnt afford to have. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULDNT BAIL YOU OUT BECAUSE YOUR A RETARD. Same goes for the adjustable rate tuition stupid college kids took. You wouldnt do it when you get a mortgage, why would you get it when your going to school? Idiots…everyone is an idiot
Romney. Do you think a man who has never fallen below his current social and financial class gives 2 sh*ts about the middle and lower class? Absolutely not. He’s never walked 2 feet in our shoes. He’s an elitist who cares only about his pockets and his pockets only. Are you blind?
If you support these candidates because your affiliated with a certain party, then you are an ultimate fail. Why would you support somebody just because there affiliated with a specific party? biases? I dont like Obama either, but I sure as hell wont vote for Romney. To me, anyone who does vote for these idiots, is wasting thier vote. Its like a vote on how to destroy America, and not make it any better

I have a mate of mine who in simple words “easily sold”, if something looks good he’ll dive at it, he doesn’t believe in the too good to be true scenario. He’s recently come across something he likes to call “expansion marketing” in which he works as an affiliate for Healthcare product corporation. I’m not sure if you understand this term, basically you pay a base fee to join this affiliate group in which you can start referring other people to join gaining credit points per person beneath you as well as commission. Now it looks all good, but ive always believed if it was too good to be true then it probably is, no such thing as a business that doesnt screw someone over. Money doesn’t pop out of nowhere, someone gets screwed. I’d just like to know is he in any way justified in a stable position with this “job”
My issues with it are:
– It looks like a job with minimal effort and high reward
– Seems to have no flaws in its structural system
– Everybody wins in this business
– You can have a constant pay cheque of over 60k
My friend is also a kind of person who prefers to only present the positive so that his plans seem flawless which in the end smacks him in the back of the head cus the problems start rising. So basically, Healthcare affiliates, stable job or no? if its legit tell me why, if it isnt give me all the dirt 🙂

Hey! So I want to work at Hooters because I heard the tips are good and I really need the money. But I wonder who would you put down as a job reference when filling out the application (like what type of people, or what areas of work would your references work in, etc)? Also how would you approach someone and ask them to be your reference because most people wouldn’t want their name affiliated with Hooters? (If I use someone as a reference and don’t tell them where I’m applying and they randomly get a call from Hooters it might be awkward. Or does Hooters not really call your references?) Please help!!
