It’s a MD7820u and I bought it for about $1000 two years ago. The battery life is practically gone so you have to have the laptop plugged in for it to stay on. There’s a very tiny niche on the middle of the screen that doesn’t really affect usage. It’s on a Windows 7 OS which I had installed for me. I really just need some quick cash. Thanks for any help on pricing!

I feel like im wasting away. Im 25, and i dont do ANYTHING. I’ve been off for nearly 3 weeks now and i’ve done nothing but sit on my *** day in day out watching tv and playing on my laptop. I’ve yet to get my drivers licence cause, i don’t care. I Went to college but ended up dropping out cause yes, i stopped caring. My lifelong dream of going sky diving was accomplished this past summer and yeah, i feel like it wasn’t as great as it should have been.
I’ve tried just about everything i could think of, career-wise and hobby-wise and i feel like i just can’t find what i need. For about a year i used to hit he gym just about every 2nd day, then i stopped caring. I’ve taken courses galore hoping to find that niche that everybody is supposed to have, but every time it starts, i get sick of it.
As a child i was in advanced classes, im not a stupid person, but i just dont have any motivation. More and more im becoming hesitant in spending my money trying anything cause i feel like the materials will just end up taking up space in my closet like the rest.
Any suggestions as to what i could do?

I sold an old computer to a person I didn’t know. Even though I deleted all my files, I later received an email from the person I sold the computer to that some files with sensitive information were recovered on the computer, and that the computer was currently listed in an auction on eBay. I asked him if I could buy the computer back from him, but he refused. As a result, I had to go on eBay and keep bidding higher in order to get my computer back (I ended up paying more than double what I sold it for). I know it was stupid of me to not overwrite my files (I’ll never make that mistake again), but is there any legal liability for the eBay auction seller? This feels like blackmail, but the person never threatened to expose any secrets or anything like that. Is the threat implied in the notice that he found the sensitive data? Is there anything I can do about it other than chalk up the loss to a lesson learned? I don’t know if that seller has done a similar thing to other people, but I definitely had to pay much more than a fair market price to get my laptop back.
