for fans who care about a fair league like NFL
read completely b4 answering and correct me if im wrong on anything ( and remember it has nothing to do with how big the market is)
so im sure that david stern doesnt tell the officials to rig certain games. i think whenever a game is rigged like it was with the 2003 lakers-kings series, the refs themselves have a secret agreement to rig it and it has nothing to do with stern or the rest of the nba. its just that the refs in that series probably had some big money on the lakers winning, so thats why the refs rigged it and the refs got in trouble after the series(so it wasnt the nba’s plan just the refs’).
so with that being said, the nba does not rig it so the same 5 teams are always going to make the finals. so get that out of your head.
the reason its always the same 4 or 5 teams is because the big stars all go on one team and get guaranteed contracts there. its just that the nba never did anything about it and they let it happen. (and keep in mind they cant just change the league from soft cap to hard cap that would ruin everything).
for example, boston, lakers, chicago, heat, thunder, and now even the clippers are the places all the stars are going. an example- look at how dwight went to la to play with kobe for a ring. nash saw this, went to go play with those 2. so basically the nba let these 3 guys be together and it initially looked like it was going to be unfair to the rest of the west, but the nba didnt do anything.
those teams i mentioned above are the teams that are going to be in the finals for the next five years or so. obviously the lakers wont make it with current roster but kobe will attract these star players because kobe is a winner then when all these players get together on one team, it becomes unfair. thats why its a star league.
so ive concluded the league should have some kind of rule where u HAVE to stay where you’re drafted when your a UR free agent UNLESS you take less $ money on

Before you reject this idea as outlandish and stupid, let me quote Aristotle by saying
“It is a mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it”
Going by this note, do you think there is a distinct possibility that IPL is conceptualized with the help of CIA as part of a plot to divide India? I mean, think about it..there are whistleblowers in the US government who allegedly claimed that CIA had secret designs to split Indiahttp://www.mid-day.com/news/2009/jan/220…
We’ve also seen how viral IPL has gone, across the populace. People go so crazy as to boo players and teams not belonging to their home towns. I see facebook posts filled with messages like “Down with Konga *******” and so on. Could this be a step taken towards inciting regional animosity and hatred? Don’t you think, it’s possible for vested interests to exploit outrage over regional issues such as mass immigrations, naxalism, caste issues and even the Cauvery water issue?
What do you think?
PS: Why would CIA be interested in splitting India? So that it’s easier to control and influence markets. One country can always find means to benefit from another country’s demise. If India got divided, American markets can easily tap into individual parts and portions of India, instead of having to negotiate trade agreements with people who represent the entire country.

I mean, come on. Lets face it. It has a terrible community, and the game itself isn’t THAT hard. I understand that there is a lot of strategy to it, and a LOT of right-clicking, but then again, isn’t Dota 2 the same thing, but with more champions and strategy? League of Legends isn’t that good of a game either. What draws so many people to it? Oh, and don’t say that Dota 2 is “expensive” or “hard to get”, I have 10 copies of it in my steam account right now. And you can get it for 2 cents on the steam community market. If you play 600 hours of League of Legends, you now have 1600 ELO, which is considered decent. Which is stupid. I know Team Fortress 2 isn’t the same genre, but I have 1000 hours in Team Fortress 2. And I am still terrible at this game. Plus, League of Legends is also just a huge plan to take all your money. I love the way Riot does this to people. They keep rotating the champs so that if you get a champ that you really like, you either buy it with ip at the end of the rotation or if you’re lazy, spend your IRL money. And don’t even get me started on skins. I know this question is a bit long-winded, but I can’t be bothered to correct it all. Please don’t start a Sheet-storm in the answers. I would like some actual responses please. Come on, Riot. What is your secret to getting all these players?

If someone were to get accepted into a Minor league baseball team, for example.. The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, which I think are affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays, how much would a player make playing for a team like that? And would it be possible for them to hold a normal day Job at the same time? Any help would be great, thanks.
