how to start online business? where can i find legit? affiliate marketing is scam? thanks

I posted my resume on craigslist for an office assistant job. Then I received an email that said “you are invited to complete an application, please complete as soon as possible or we will move on to another candidate. If we don’t hear from you by tomorrow we will move on to the next candidate” The salary posted was $18 per hour for an office assistant/customer service position which sounds too good to be true. In the email that I recieved from them they gave me a code that I had to enter into their website in order to complete the application Then once I entered the code I got this message:

We believe that it is extremley important for you to be aware of what is on your credit report before interviewing for any type of employment. Most affiliate and CPA networks are legit in that they do pay if you’ve earned money. And most will safeguard your SSN, just like any other employer. But there are a few that will look OK, will pay its affiliates, but will also sell SSN’s to criminals on the side.
SO, making money online is great. THERE IS NO GRIND! NO COMMUTE! NO BOSS! NO CUBICLE! Plus people make money online all the time.
So if one tries to do that, how can he protect himself from SSN/credit fraud?
P.S. DON’T say “get a real job”, because working online is in many respects BETTER than a real job, if you know what you’re doing.

Theres a guy that sent me a couple of messages on youtube, and his chanel name is ChanelSupport. this is what the message says: (you dont have to read the whole thing)
