I’m applying at two bookstores: Barnes and Noble, and Half Price Books.
I never am sure what to put for the position applied for, as I do not know all of the positions affiliated with the jobs. I was told I could just put down “open” and that would suffice, but one of the applications says “Response Required” under that field, so I am not so confident that “open” is what they are looking for.
Do they just mean hourly, salary, or management etc?
Also, if anyone happens to work in either bookstore, or any other bookstore for that matter, how do you like the job? I work in fast food currently, and I’m sure anything would be better.
Thanks for any help!

Do I get something to put in link to their site that no matter which page they go to (as I direct them to 1-2 different pages to point out something they need to know) I still get paid because I have a special cookie or something for people leaving my site to go to theirs. So in theory even if I directed them to 10 different pages on that companies website I would still get paid if they sign up or click the link(?) to that site from my site? Or is it usually just one url I am given that works?
I am brand new to this and have just applied as an affiliate, but am getting my page set up right now so it will be ready to just add the link or whatever I need to do? Thank you for any help on this matter!

Back in April I met a couple people on campus who were evangelizing to people and I was one of the people that they sat down with and started to talk to me about the gospel. I was a little skeptical at first because I did and still believe that there is a higher power, a god as you may call him, and that no matter the religion we are affiliated with, we can come together as a society when we need to and overcome and challenge that comes our way. I eventually became a christian because they gave me more insight about Jesus and god and how they can be apart of their lives. Ever since then I’ve been reading bible and learning about God and how if w you follow god’s word, you will ascend into the kingdom and gain eternal life. The only problem with that is one question? When will god answer my prayers. Although I’ve made a whole bunch of new friends since then, I’m still trapped in this state of loneliness and depression. The only people I can rely on are musicians in bands. The stuff that I listen to is basically heavy metal like Disturbed, Machine Head, Metallica, Trivium, and so on. These bands have influenced me to play guitar and to start writing poetry/song structure ideas. When this comes across people, they immediately deem me insane or violent while there are Other songs that are equally or more aggressive than what I’ve ever wrote. I’ve written probably over 50 ideas and trying to put music to it, but I’m being put down by people who think I’m not supposed to write anything cause it’s too violent and what not. I can’t even remember scriptures, I only remember lyrics from heavy metal songs such as “give your soul to me, for eternity” and “The Halo over our demise, following a god so blind.” I need a little more insight on this issue cause I truly don’t understand Gods ways, or if i ever wanted to.

Is god just waiting to show himself to me in the future, or will I be turned away from him just like everyone else in my life. I thought that the bible would help me, give me insight, give me meaningful words to dwell upon, but nothing. You know the persian peddlers on the side of busy merchant routes, saying “Try this special potion, oh wanderer, it will renew your travel forces! Replenish your life force, it will…made by wise mages of this secret order who owes me a favour, they know everything!”
Since mages were always bragging with their “wisdom” and their main mission was to increase their “knowledge”, this proves scientists today are no better then “mages in the middle ages”.
Who was bragging with absolute knowledge in the dark age? Mages.
Who was bragging with researching the known world in the dark age? Mages.
Who was peddling their potions and gadgets in the dark age? Mages.
Scientists today meet ALL the requirements for mages. They are wannabe’s and merchants.
Science doesn’t exist without commerce. Try destroying all commerce, and you will find science becomes ancient myth faster than you can put one step in front of the other.
Mages did resort to fooling strangers, using scams for “new faces” who weren’t aquainted with the deceiving tactics of the “wandering mage”.
How did they sell their smut? Bragging with their omnipotent knowledge, OF COURSE! For how could the (Wannabe) Mage ever have less than perfect worldly knowledge of everything and everything and then some?
I noticed this with some atheists. Indecently they will throw their beliefs into ANY conversation, no matter how far removed from the realm of faith or spirituality.
No matter what the conversation is, they find some way to sneak their abhorrent propaganda inside their words. It’s disgusting.
Why can’t they stop? Shouldn’t they keep their superstitions to themselves, especially since they never provide me with any evidence?
How can they say something, they cannot prove themselves? Are they under the impression I asked to be lied to?
Or do atheists just have to preach their own social status? You know, because they might be “left out”, or “ignored and forgotten” unless they try their Soviet Superiority nonsense on everyone’s ears.
Is this like a “revenge against the jocks” thing, that atheists or scientists have against society? Just because you were not the alpha, does everyone have to suffer your drivel just because your mage sect “believes this”?
Ever heard of common sense, atheists? Yeah, try using it.

I asked this last week but I don’t get it still. I live in NY and I never had a car (though I have my license already. I got it through driving school). My friend owns a black 300zx, my uncle owns multiple cars and they both said color DOES matter. Black and red cars cost the most because they get in accident most often and red colored cars often affiliated with streetracing. Something like that. The cheapest is green because there’s not much green cars on the road, thus not often. My friend is billed more he said because his car is not only a sportscar, but it’s colored black. My uncle’s car is green though it’s a BMW he still pays less. Both have been driving the same amount of years of experience and both live in NY. So…what is it? Or which is it rather. Thanks for you answers!
