Affiliate Marketing Secrets

I have a really niche music taste, which is really annoying when looking for new stuff.
Favourite artist at the moment is The Herbaliser.

I want to buy an affiliate website that will hopefully make some money. I have found two options: 1) I make my own site and connect it to the affiliate of eBay or any other company that offers affiliates, 2) buy an established affiliate website from eBay which has a domain name and everything and costs about 5 dollars monthly, also it has everything uploaded on it and I don’t need to update new stuff it cause it updates itself.
What do you think? Any advice would be great
