“World’s Fastest*2 Autofocusing System . . . *2 As of November 2011. Among interchangeable-lens digital cameras on the market, and using Olympus’ in-house test conditions”
1) Do you think that when this camera is tested by organizations such as dpreview.com, that it will prove to have the “world’s fastest auto-focus” ? ?
[bhphotovideo.com says “Expected availability: April 10 2012”]
2) If true, how can a mirrorless camera possibly claim this crown? . . . Any tech-ideas as to what has Olympus may have discovered that Canon/Nikon have not ? ?
3) If the Olympus OM-D E-M5 lives up to all of its pre-release specs [and I’ll venture that Olympus has a pretty good reputation in this regard] — is this camera a good buy at $1000 (body-only)?

Im looking for a nikon d7000 and saw this link : http://www.walmartstoreltd.com/products.… on google shopping, this is a insanely low price because this is at least 50% off the price in the store, so I looked at their contact info and I emailed them and they then invited me to a gmail chat and explained they are affiliated with the real walmart and it is not a scam but told me the deal ened the next day, but the deal is still on is this a scam

I’ve had this kit for quite a while.
It’s a Nikon d3000 along with a AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm and AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm VR. I’ve always been interested in Photography and now after spending a few years trying to find my niche in College I’ve decided on being a photographer. What type of Photographer is still up for debate however.
Though I’m finding it hard to make the effort to move forward. I don’t want to enter college courses or attempt to get into freelance photography at a paper somewhere with gear that screams “Don’t take me seriously!”
So do I need to invest in expensive gear to start down a photography career path, or am I exactly where I should be when it comes to gear?
