Can I have some revisions and feedback please? Thanks.
Describe the world you come from – for example, your family, community or school – and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.
Seeing the suffering of a family member and the impact it has on your family is one of the most unimaginable horrors that a person has to face. It is not a terminal or unexpected death that I was forced to confront, but the reality of my uncle’s depression and what it was doing to my grandparents. My unfortunate realization of how a mental disorder can be so piercing to the stability of family gave me inspiration to understand the way the mind and body work.
When I was a child, I overheard my grandparents telling my parents that my uncle was suffering from depression and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I was too young at the time to register what those words meant, but after years of observation I began to comprehend how badly it was affecting my family. My uncle was unable to support himself because of his reclusiveness and withdrawal from human interaction. My grandparents, being the extraordinary parents that they are, gave him full support and have been ceaselessly financially aiding him since. The turmoil it has caused has been devastating, but has exponentially amplified my interest in the physiological cognition of the brain.
The abstruseness of the brain has given me an endless interest of the topic that is most studied by the top neurologists in the world. The localization of mental disorders and illnesses are unknown, and there are no known cures to rid a person of all cranial afflictions. However, with an influx of people with a great curiosity for the brain, then we can solve the greatest enigma of all time. If I were to learn the studies that have baffled scientists for ages, then maybe I could make a difference in society and help alleviate the stress that my grandparents have been forced to endure for years. It is not fair that they have to suffer because of genetic mutations and anomalies that have created OCD and depression. They deserve better, and I want to help them achieve a stress-free environment, devoid of worry and financial troubles.
The pain and anguish that I see etched on my grandparent’s faces is enough to make me want to help my uncle in order to help them. By finding a viable treatment or cure for the mental illnesses, then I would be able to help not only my family, but every person that has to go through the same suffering that my family has gone through. By having a personal connection to a loved one that suffers from OCD and depression, I can understand what others are going through. This personal connection has instilled in me a passion so great to treat or cure these ailments that I will not rest until something is done. I have found my niche in this world, and I intend to do good because I owe it to my family and everything they have gone through.

What to ask a car company marking dept for a journalism interview?I have this school project to interview a marketing person for a small car company. It’s a mini-interview, just about 10-15 questions. What should I ask?I was thinking asking about the differences in cars marketed to that particular country, the challenges in selling a niche car, etc. Any ideas?

I would like to think that I’m a very conscious person upon organizing my social networking sites. My profile is set on private, I kindly refuse any of my office mates access to my Facebook for personal reasons and to avoid unnecessary drama. I keep my temper in check when I post on a bad day and become very cryptic or just general when posing a rant.
I do however own a vast collection of photo’s over the years, I lived alone for a while and had a hard time making friends as a teen so when I finally found my niche of friends who 15 years later are still my closest buddies I made sure to document all our good memories in film and photography.
Back in the 90’s we had horrible hair and did not wear much makeup. Our fashion was either something we dare not show the world or wore according to the latest fad. Such were the contents of my album which I started digitally scanning.
I posted a few on Facebook which most of my high school and college friends appreciated because these where “lost” memories of them. And even though the fashion or hairstyle was horrible they were not scandalous or “career” damaging in any way. beside most of the pictures were us when we were 14-16 years old, mostly shots in our bedroom, mall or a proper birthday party.
I told my friend I had those pictures and was posting them in facebook, an album of MY OWN birthday. There was no alcohol, no flashing of any kind. Just silly pictures of us with really bad haircuts. In fact the picture was of me and the rest of us as i was blowing my candles.
She went off on me immediately telling me I disrespected her by posting the pictures. At first i chided with her and quickly retracted it knowing she was quick to temper.
But she came down on me hard by telling me I was a person she did not trust and mess everything up for her. She informed that even though I own those picture I had NO RIGHT to post them without her consent. Even though she and our common friend have uploaded in the past picures of us together and had us tagged.
She did not speak to me until I apologized and said that it would never happen again.
I do feel though that she had no right to tell me what pictures of my own albums I can or cannot post. The pictures also included some of our few common friends who are ok with the content and are asking me for digital copies. However I refused to give it to them on account of my upset friends.
What are the proper etiquette when posing a shared image of myself and other people?
Thank you

I bought a business just recently, and another person who used to be affiliated with my business decided to start there own exact same one, except they left out one letter… ex.
George’s Online Store(s)
George’s Online Store( )
This person made there own business using all my copyrighted info which i purchased the rights to because the previous owner ran the business poorly.
I purchased it, put a lot of money into it and now im finding out that their using it. Only thing is, I am just filing for a trademark now, but my business has been running since 1990, this other person just started theirs.
I understand I probably have to wait for it to be approved, but is their anything I can do in the mean time. This person is ridiculous, who would be that stupid when they could get sued?!

I know that Independent person is not affiliated to any political party, so:
How was that party started?
What are its State issues?
Where it first happened?
How it happened?
Why it happened?
How it spread?
This is for a American Government project. thanks for your help.

It’s a serious question.
I’m doing the obvious. I went to Uni, got a professional job, I save 50 percent of my net income(£1000 per month). I am studying the stock market, specifically options, in my spare time.
But what next…? I would love to know what a person could do instead of leaving their money in a bank (low interest rates). Mutual funds are vulnerable to market downturns; I’d prefer to be an active investor. I’m unsure of how to go about it – and thought I should learn from the best – you. You, the person reading this post, who have managed to create wealth.
We all know that there are too many people putting their hands out for money – whether to their bank or to their parents. What would be better is if people could learn from intelligent people like you who know how to make money.
So, please – let us know how you did it. How did you become wealthy? How did you know which businesses or stocks to invest in? Or did you find another route?
This is far better than “the secret millionaire” – instead of giving us a fish, I’m asking you to teach Yahoo readers HOW to fish!
