I’m applying as a seasonal worker for the Disney College Program and I have a phone interview Monday. I really don’t want to miss school a semester and would like to graduate on time. Does seasonal mean I only work during the summer (May/Jun – Aug)? Or is it from May/Jun – Jan. I know that if I quit in the middle because of school I won’t be aloud to go for jobs with any Disney affiliates for a period of time and I don’t like/want to quit. I always finish what I start.

I applied for a out of state position. The contact was a independent head hunter, who scheduled my phone interview. I spoke with the employer and felt it was not a good match. She recommended another position they had open in my state. She said she would forward my resume to the HR manager who was handling this position in my state. One of their directors then called me for a phone interview, then a face-to-face. It seems to be a better fit. And looks like I might be offered the job.
Now, this independent is calling me asking me how the interview went and so on. I don’t want to be rude, but I feel he is trying to take a commission from this affiliated company who he did not set up an interview for. I have never sign an agreement with this head hunter. So I’m not sure what is my obligation to him? I’m also considered that he will try to ask for a commission from this company and might effect my compensation negotiations. What should I do?

Any recommendations for a good headhunter or staffing agency? Or perhaps a directory where I can just fax a bunch of offices my resume?
I have a B.A. double major in math(applied) and economics along with a minor in computer science. I even graduated magna *** laude.
You’d think companies would want a background like that but the truth is that they want experience and it’s really hard to get a job unless you have connections. I’ve been applying for positions that I’m overqualified for, ones that I match all of the key requirements, and even some I’m underqualified for hoping that they’d be impressed with my academics. No luck yet =( Just generic rejection e-mails.
I’ve contacted GradStaff, which I thought was my best hope but It’s been 2 weeks since the phone interview and haven’t heard back from them.
If there are any niche agencies, I have part-time experience in real estate leasing and management. I have part-time experience in a manufacturing office as well doing a lot of invoicing, entering data into Excel, using accounting software, making reports in Excel using advanced functions and the analysis toolpack, some production scheduling, inventory, etc.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks =)
