I’ve just invented this new idea for a beverage. The basics behind it is that the temperature is at a refreshable level prior to opening the can and drinking.
The way this works is with an endothermic reaction (un-decided, but possibly with Aluminium Chloride and Water/Barium Hydroxide Octahydrate).
To make this work however, an extra ‘insulating’ layer is added to the can to be filled with one of the endothermic reactants (for this example, let’s say water) and the other reactant (aluminium chloride) attached onto the can in such a way, that when opened, the collide and react to form an endothermic reaction (drawing in heat AKA making it colder). This would cool the beverage considerably, making it much more refreshing in summer/hot climates.http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=5makvs&s…
(The Red is the Aluminium Chloride, the Blue is the Water, the Purple is the endothermic product. This basically just shows what I mean, with the cola securely kept away from mixing with any products, but receiving the ‘coldness’ of the endothermic reaction).
The wrapper covering the can would make sure there is no complications in picking up the can. The metal inside the can would also be sturdy to make sure there are no piercings that end up mixing the solutions.
The can will, most likely, either cost more than the average can of coke (due to the materials) OR will be less than 330ml (as more space is required for the reactants).
Now, for the design.
I could make this very pinpointed with one type of niche market (excluding thirsty people) – Fallout fans.
Imagine I have rights to the Nuka Cola name (although I don’t think it’s trademarked anyway), I would call the can ‘Ice Cold Nuka Cola’. Not only does it fit the name of the product perfectly (ice cold cola, what else?) but it also reaches out to gamers (which is a huge industry) as well as the usual markets
So basically, thoughts and opinions on this random brainstorm?

Market is something like golf. Niche is something like golf training and a micro niche is something really specific like swing training for left handed. I need niche ideas so what are your hobbies, interests or some cool products that you like. And I’m not looking for really popular products like phones or computers. I’m looking for cool stuff that not everybody knows about. But something that I can find and learn about on the internet.

Selling a product what are the benifits of POA?
I have sold cars for 10 years and been in sales all my life and understand might make the phone ring and you can collect interested people’s contact details and call them back if it was reduced if it did t sell within a certain time
I’m my opinion the secret of selling is to “offer it” (that includes the price)
If I see £POA I automaticity assume the product is too dear or I cannot afford it. I personally would never use POA as I would expect people either Curious or have no idea about current market values of the product. Thus wasting both of our time
Has anyone had success or unsucess with POA??
or changed to the real price???
I am asking this question as my partner just called (21.37) a Horsebox advertisement (POA to Surprise surprise ask THE PRICE!). The seller said his wife would call back in 45 mins (as she was out) to discuss the elusive price
After putting the phone down my parter said “it’ll be too expensive” I asked Why did you even ring???
Surely POA causes more problems than it solves. Your thoughts?

It’s a software/hardware device that plugs into a computer. Can’t get my head around which comes first, Copyright, Provisional Patent, and then Trademark’ing the name of the product.
