Supposedly station 95.7 FM is the ESPN affiliate for the Bay Area, but they are always playing the Oakland A’s games (even though nobody cares about that team) and I can never find the NBA games despite searching through every AM and FM station. Any idea what station it is on?

There’s so many rumors and half-truths about music on the radio. The biggest ones which I like answer to are:
1.Does record labels really pay radio station to play their Artist songs?
2.Do radio only play what’s in the Top 40?
3.Do people really still request songs in these days? Because why request a song when I have so many disposable options to listen to said song whenever I want?
YOU MUST WORK OR PREVIOUSLY WORKED IN THE RADIO INDUSTRY TO ANSWER! EX. RADIO DJs PRODUCERS ETC …

Almost nobody seems quite content w/ mainstream FM radio
If it was up to you :
1.What artists/bands would you take off of FM Radio entirely?
2.What artists/bands would you add to FM Radio? But be realistic, don’t list 72 death metal bands or anything with screaming cause that’s not actually “radio friendly”
3.What bands on FM Radio are you actually fine with the fact that they play?
4.Don’t you think that FM Radio should have an extreme music (Metal/Hardcore)station? Just put it all on 1 station w/o mixing it in with the other rock stations?
(I would, cause there is definitely a bigger niche for it than the Mexican Mariachi stations & Classical stations that you find in just about anywheres Radio stations…)

I only remember that part from the song. I heard it maybe 8 years ago, and it’s not from radio or anything. this was a song affiliated with Anne of Green Gables. She sings about how she wants to get engaged to Diana.
