I don’t care what anyone says, no one knew who Obama was before the 2008 election… He popped onto the political stage after 2 years of being a no-show Senator … He gained popularity and was elected President within 6-9 months…— THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE… Usually a President’s past is transparent and open to the public, so what is Obama hiding? 9 out of 10 Americans don’t know where he was born, what Religion he follows, what he did during his adolescence, who raised him besides his mom, who his affiliates were, and what connections does he still have to the shady characters in his past…… There is a documentary coming out about all the things Obama wanted to hide from the public. It’s supposed to be pretty shocking, and shows Obama growing up with adult influences that have a radical, anti-colonialism political stance. He is by far the most liberal President in U.S History, that’s not even debatable, but what troubles me even more is the blind acceptance he receives from Hollywood, and the main-stream Media. They started backing Obama before they even knew what he stood for…. I firmly believe that if Obama started growing horns out of his head, and turned red in front of the world, he would still get re-elected.

The beauty of the adaptability and staggering diversity of life to utilize every niche of the environment and overcome adversity over millions of years? I mean, let’s give hard-working life a little credit here! It was just created and stagnant? How useless. The world is dynamic and the critters work hard to survive.

I’ve talked with a few professionals who say that my constant changing of things in my life (ex. religion, sexual orientation, future plans) stems from my desire to have a community or a niche.
I realize now how accurate that is, but I’m unsure of where to go from here.
I crave to belong to something so I can’t tell what’s really what I want vs what my brain tells me I should do to belong to a group

Because they’re private schools and well-established private schools tend to be better than public schools.

I’m an atheist who would like to know if any theist on Y!A can back up their beliefs without referencing any religious texts or referencing any websites affiliated with a religion. You cannot resort to logical fallacies, either.

I am graduating high school this year but I have decided to take a year off of school between now and college. (I do plan on going to college later on)
I am taking this year to better know what I want to do with my future. The only problem, is I don’t even know what I want to do with the next year of my life!
I love volunteering and helping people. I am creative and artistic. I love theater. I can’t really afford to travel… I mean I am 18 and working a minimum wage job in retail, so keep it realistic. I also am not opposed to anything affiliated with religion, I am a devote Christian so this would even be ideal.
I could just spend my year lazing around, but I want to better my understanding of not only myself, but the world around me.
All suggestions appreciated! Thanks 🙂
