Let’s pretend Mitt Romney had won in 2008 and done exactly what Obama has done….
Obama kept Guantanamo open. He kept Bush’s indefinite detention policies. He kept Bush’s state secrets arguments to shield the government from any lawsuits. He kept Bush’s guy (Bernanke) as the head of the Federal Reserve. He signed a health care “reform” bill into law whose centerpiece is an “individual mandate” (which is a Republican “market based” solution from the early 90s that Mitt Romney, a Republican, instituted at the state level in MA a few years ago). He tripled the number of troops in Afghanistan. He has committed about 50,000 troops to Iraq indefinitely (he claims they’re non-combat troops and that the war is over). What if Mitt Romney, for instance, had done all this?

Many of the studies done polling how many Republicans support the birther movement have been done by liberal or Democratic party affiliated polling firms. So it’s hard to trust them.
Some on CBS show far less support for the birther movement at only 20% which still sounds high and CNN which shows more.
I’d like to see the opinions of conservatives, independents and Republicans on this. I don’t know any Republicans who believe this idea. It also seem to be used as a tool by Democrats to make undecided voters angry at the Republicans.

why is everybody so touchy nowadays?
all I said was that most white affiliate themselves with the republican party while most blacks affiliate themselves with the democratic party
this is simply a demographic conclusion.
is it possible then that people in politics are PUNISHED for being LOGICAL?

They always say that they are “America’s voice” which they sort of are if you are a Republican. They say that they are not affiliated with any party but all of their candidates are Republican. It’s okay to be apart of the Republican party I don’t understand why they just won’t claim it. I’m pretty sure there were no Tea Party Democrats elected because quite frankly there are no Tea Party Democrats or Independents.

Why would I waste precious moments of my life trying to “think up insults” towards other Americans?
