i’m doing a project for my marketing class, so just wondering what guys’ opinions were of the whole VS fashion show and angels.
the company claims to pick models based upon their appeal to women, so thats kind of where this project started.
-what do you think of them… would you date one, or do you respect modesty more? do you think they’re classy or trashy? i’m blanking on other questions, but you get the point!

(Sorry for this being so long, but you can defintily skip a lot and still get the gist of it)
So there been rumors for the past few years of my high school having a show choir, but none has actually accomplished making one. We used to have one, but the sponsper now is know too busy with her kids and other things to do one. So I figured I’ll be the girl to actually get it done instead of relying on other people who say there trying to make one.
So I was wondering what is the best way to find a sponsper. I was thinking of going to teachers I know first, but I feel like a lot of them are already busy. One teacher I was emailing over the summer about the possiblity of them sponspering said it might be a good idea to put flyers in teachers mailboxes at school.
IRight here I’m copying his questions and my answers, to see if this is a good way to persuade someone:
What is a glee choir? A glee choir is just a popular known name for a show choir, which is a choir that combines both singing and dance.
What is its purpose at (instert name here) High School:
Bowie high school is filled with creative/musical inclined people and the choirs at (my high school name) are more traditional. Where it is a class and is done for as a grade. For that reason students don’t have a say o n what songs they perform or cheographer(if there happens to be any). A showchoir being a mixture of dance and singing(and in also in this case being a ‘club) students would have a say on what they do and be allowed to express themseleves more freely.
How often would it meet?
I was thinking once a week and if that’s not possible once every other week.
How many members?
I am thinking around 15 to 30 people.
Is there a nationwide organization that would be affiliated with our chapter/ Would we perform?
There are showchoir competitions I am currentely looking into that are currentely spread throughout the usa. The most popular I’ve seen so far are in Tennesse and Chicago. Which we defintely have to fundraise for but I think it is possible to raise enough money, with a good suppoet system. Which I have a feeling we would have if bowie had a show choir again.
I also know there are certain school events we could perform at, such as pops. Or have our own performances. And possible do a flash mob.
Also other things nesscarry to start a show choir also would help.

Rumors has it that back in April, Anne Sweeney wanted all three ABC soaps to be cancelled and it was actually Brian Frons who convinced her to give General Hospital a chance (since it had the highest ratings among the ABC soaps).
With Katie Couric slated to take the 3:00pm timeslot on ABC in September 2012, the future of General Hospital is kind of compromised. However, Katie Couric will apparently be a syndicated show.
With this in mind, what do you think will happen to General Hospital?
1) Moved to the internet like AMC and OLTL
2) Cancelled outright
3) Moved to a different ABC timeslot
3) It will stay at the 3:00pm. Each ABC affiliate will decide whether it wants to air GH or Kate.

I was having a discussion with a Christian affiliate, deploring him of his one-sided argument and ways, so I told him “Harry Potter died for your sins! Show some respect, muggle!” He thought this was way out of line, and I hardly see why. Time and time again people have told me that “Jesus died for your sins” why can’t I use the same response only in reference to Harry Potter. Both are true; Harry Potter did indeed sacrifice his life to protect wizards and muggles alike from Lord Voldemort, so why be offended?? I am not belittling your faith, we just happen to invest our faith in different venues, can’t we respect that?

Does anybody know the producers, casting directors, or HBO affiliates for the show game of thrones?
My name is Thomas Carney,I’m a British-American aspiring actor and a
huge Game of Thrones fans! I’ve been wanting to start an acting career
for some time, and watching the GoT series finally convinced me to get
started. I’d absolutely love being on in future seasons, even as an
extra- I couldn’t imagine a better beginning!
Does anyone know of anyway to contact producers, agents or casting
directors? I know I probably don’t have much time, and I’d be willing
to do really anything.
I’ve just turned 19 years old, I’m about 6’3, gold/brown hair, blue
eyes, lifelong athlete and musician. I’m a dual citizen of the United
States and United Kingdom by birth, so I can work anywhere.
Honestly, I feel prepared to take a lead role starting tomorrow- I
absolutely KNOW I’d nail any role offered. I don’t care if it’s an
extra in one scene, or the new protagonist (or antagonist!)
I PROMISE I’ll stand out and make HBO rich- just give me that chance!
I just feel this incredible rush of energy, like there’s nothing else
in the world I see myself doing. I just can’t fathom how anyone could
experience “stage fright” or nervousness- I’ve never felt more
comfortable than the times I . Perhaps that sounds a little
egotistical, but I promise it’s not…or actually, perhaps I AM a little
egotistical- I truly do believe I could walk on tomorrow and take a
starring role- but if I DIDN’T feel that way, if anyone didn’t feel
that way, could you honestly see them able to do so? It’s like a
musician onstage during a concert- how can they give an amazing show
if they expect to sound anything other than amazing?
I actually do have a bit of acting, performance and modeling
experience, but I believe my most important experience is rather
unconventional. When I was 16 I was going to do an internship with the
National Clandestine service of the CIA- basically the espionage
division. Although I decided not to do it, I spent months practicing
different identities, characters, mannerisms, traits, voices, etc-
useful skills for an undercover, AND for an actor. My friends were
also amazed and would always (and still do) tell me I’d be perfect for
movies.
When I think of a portraying a character and saying a line, I don’t
ask myself if it’s happy, sad, or angry. Instead I ask myself- “Does
he really mean this?” “Does this reflect his past?” “Does this signify
a source of pride or shame?” “Is he being honest?” “What’s his
motivation for saying such?” “What can you learn from him in this
line?” It’s no different than the life I’ve always had, and as Keith
Richard says- you can always answer the question “what are you doing”
with two simple words- “Just living”, and that’s exactly how I see
acting. I’ve had a lifetime’s experience of playing roles, meeting
characters, conveying expressions and feelings and thoughts, assuming
identities and wearing masks. I’ve never really understood the concept
of acting school- isn’t every moment of your life like attending the
world’s best acting school?
But anyway, there really isn’t much I wouldn’t do- so please, if
anyone has any information, let me know!
My email is Thomasfrancis117@gmail.com
Thank you very much!
Thomas Carney
