Now I know that the question is broad, but it’s just to get the attention of anyone that can help. More specifically, here’s our situation.
As most any small business owner will say, we’ve found a niche that no one has found and there’s an enormous potential for. I know everyone says it, but I really mean it. We’ve got potential. In this excitement, we made ourselves an LLC because it’s only $40. We wanted to secure our name and make sure we’re motivated. We’re registered with the state of Kentucky and have appointed ourselves the Registered Agent and Organizer roles. The question is:
Where do we go from here?
We know what we’re providing, how we’re doing it, when, and every other variable. What we don’t know, and can’t seem to find in a centralized place of business intelligence, is what we do, legally. For example, all we did was establish the LLC. From here, do we have to make ourselves employees? And if so, how do we do that? If we don’t how do we go about telling the state (or country/IRS) that both of us own the company and share the revenue? If we need to hire someone, what does that entail?
Now, being a web developer and general tech enthusiast I’m firm in the belief of “Google it, stop asking stupid questions” but to be completely honest I have and everyone just kinda says “fill out this form by the name of A234-20”, or whatever form there is. It’s all really confusing and we’re really determined to change a lot with our business. We definitely will grant credit to the person who can answer this thoroughly.
Thanks a lot for your time,
David

a fast food restaurant called McHealthy
it’s healthier than McDonald’s, but cheaper than Subway.
They serve sandwiches on whole wheat buns with spinach instead of lettuce.
want fries with that? sure, but no salt on them.
or if you prefer you can get apple fries.
We don’t serve soda. We serve juice, lemonade, and water.
McHealthy
Eat better, live longer.
or if not a restaurant then how about a grocery store.
It will be called Healthy Mart.
There will be nothing in it that’s unhealthy what-so-ever.
and it comes with a gym where you can go on a treadmill before you do your grocery shopping.
you know how Whole Foods serves only organic foods……
well no scientific study has ever confirmed that organic foods are “healthier”…..
Whole Foods serves unhealthy crap like soda……..it’s just organic soda, that’s all.
Healthy Mart will not serve ANYTHING that’s bad for you what-so-ever.
There will be a greater selection of WHEAT products….bread, cereal, bagels, crackers, etc.
no white bread at all.

Please do not include surveys anything I need to sign up for. I don’t care how speacial your site is. No profit amount is too rediculous as long as it’s not over complicated to make it. If I can make as much as $20 to the good in a short amount of time and do it a few times a month it’s money made. List as many as possible. Thanks to everybody that’s helping.

Amazon is quickly taking over the retail market – all retail. I noticed they are impacting Walmart’s sales and if that’s the case, what’s next? How does a small business sell products at a profit when folks are just surfing to Amazon and buying the same product cheaper? Any tips that you’ve used would be great help!

Ok so without divulging to much info about the company:
We are working on an IT training niche small business and are at a standstill about the logistics of it.
So we will specialize in a specific type of training but are undecided how to distribute the software.
It has been brough up to use usb or cd to distribute, but without specific licensing we could not control people just distributing it on thier own….
So it has been brought up to have an online server to provide the service to hold the software. Users would purchase it and be issues a password/usrname to access the server. So my questions are this……
1. Is it feasible to manage the server ourselves with about 1k to 2k users? Any cost estimate for this?
2. Is there any other way to distribute software and protect the privacy of that software?
3. Any ideas how much a SaaS company would charge to host a software of this nature?
Thanks a ton IT community!
