Need Some Advice About Affiliate Marketing?

Have started affiliated marketing of e-books about relationship and sexuality since October 2009. Till now, have problems in converting traffic into sales. I rely heavily on article marketing, till date, I have submitted over 200 articles on various sites, one of which is at ezines. I post 3 articles a week. I have also created a blog and it now has over 300 postings and have a daily traffic of over 300 visits. I have also signed on social networking sites, forums and also ping my blog regularly. I have signed up for back links or reciprocal links on various directories. Till now, my sales are very pathetic.I can’t even more than US$100 per month and sales are very sporadic. I have paid close attention to using keywords such as choosing those keywords which boost a monthly search of at least 500 on my headings and 1st few paragraphs of my articles.
I’m not sure what went wrong. I have been doing things very diligently, consistently and in a very disciplined manner.
I need some advice in how I can successfully convert the traffic to my sites into real sales as well as any other advice on how to turnaround my situation. Thanks for your advice and suggestions.

Which Company Should I Start?

I will be starting a company over the summer. I have two ideas, but I am only going to do one.
My first company idea is to create many websites that sell Amazon affiliate products. I will get 1a 15% commission on every item that I sell. But, I will have a lot of these “niche” websites up and running. These sites will be run through a company that I will start. When the sites make some money, I will sell the sites on online marketplaces. I could later make websites such as marketplaces and social networking sites and sell those.t
The second company idea is to sell online media marketing services for new companies. I would create basic websites (webs.com, weebly.com, type of sites,) for small companies that are not yet on the internet. I could also provide marketing services such as creating social networking pages and marketing through those types of websites.
I like the first idea a lot since I can make money while I sleep. I do not need to provide any product or shipping or anything. I am pretty sure I could make six figures a year with around three of those types of websites.
I also like the second idea since it is a real “company” that provides a service. Although, I am not quite sure small companies would want webs.com quality websites.
Which company idea do you like better and why? Which one should I choose?

Posting Pictures In Facebook Etiquette’s With Others/friends Involved?

I would like to think that I’m a very conscious person upon organizing my social networking sites. My profile is set on private, I kindly refuse any of my office mates access to my Facebook for personal reasons and to avoid unnecessary drama. I keep my temper in check when I post on a bad day and become very cryptic or just general when posing a rant.
I do however own a vast collection of photo’s over the years, I lived alone for a while and had a hard time making friends as a teen so when I finally found my niche of friends who 15 years later are still my closest buddies I made sure to document all our good memories in film and photography.
Back in the 90’s we had horrible hair and did not wear much makeup. Our fashion was either something we dare not show the world or wore according to the latest fad. Such were the contents of my album which I started digitally scanning.
I posted a few on Facebook which most of my high school and college friends appreciated because these where “lost” memories of them. And even though the fashion or hairstyle was horrible they were not scandalous or “career” damaging in any way. beside most of the pictures were us when we were 14-16 years old, mostly shots in our bedroom, mall or a proper birthday party.
I told my friend I had those pictures and was posting them in facebook, an album of MY OWN birthday. There was no alcohol, no flashing of any kind. Just silly pictures of us with really bad haircuts. In fact the picture was of me and the rest of us as i was blowing my candles.
She went off on me immediately telling me I disrespected her by posting the pictures. At first i chided with her and quickly retracted it knowing she was quick to temper.
But she came down on me hard by telling me I was a person she did not trust and mess everything up for her. She informed that even though I own those picture I had NO RIGHT to post them without her consent. Even though she and our common friend have uploaded in the past picures of us together and had us tagged.
She did not speak to me until I apologized and said that it would never happen again.
I do feel though that she had no right to tell me what pictures of my own albums I can or cannot post. The pictures also included some of our few common friends who are ok with the content and are asking me for digital copies. However I refused to give it to them on account of my upset friends.
What are the proper etiquette when posing a shared image of myself and other people?
Thank you

Alternative Energy – The Latest Hot Topic

Comments (0)

Alternative energy is a hot topic. There are great e-books available that cover the subject in some detail. The books discuss solar, geothermal and other renewable sources.

Since going green is the thing to do, everyone is interested in new ways to help conserve our natural resources and better protect the environment. Any affiliate marketer can benefit from the public’s desire to do their part.

As an affiliate, you can promote an alternative energy e-book and sometimes earn a 50% commission for every book sold through your unique link. Not familiar with how affiliate marketing works? Here’s a brief explanation.

Affiliates have websites, use existing social networks or their existing list of email addresses to promote products for different companies. They are not required to pay an up-front fee or make any kind of monetary investment. All that is required of them is their time.

Affiliates are not responsible for stocking or shipping products. When it comes to something like an e-book, the product is sent automatically as soon as the customer pays. The customer then downloads the book and reads it at their leisure.

Each affiliate marketer is assigned a unique tracking code. He or she creates web-links on website pages or in emails. Clicking on the link takes the visitor to the website where the products can be purchased. In the case of the e-book, the link would bring the visitor to the product website.

The unique code within the link lets the program director know where the sale came from. Commissions are paid accordingly.

Once you have set up your sales page, sent out your emails or published links at your social networking sites, there are other things you can do to continue promoting the products.

For example, an affiliate marketer might write articles about alternative energy and publish them at various electronic magazines (ezines). Each article would link to the marketer’s website where he or she would attempt to “pre-sell” the visitor.

After reading the pre-sell, the visitor clicks on the link and buys the e-book. The affiliate marketer earns his or her commission. The customers are happy with their purchases. They learn about wind-power and the latest ultra-quiet turbines.

They learn about the safety and efficiency of solar voltaic panels. Once the panels are installed, the power can be stored in batteries or hooked directly into the mainline of a house. It is possible to generate more electricity through solar or wind than the household needs. When that occurs, the electric companies are required to purchase the extra wattage.

You can help promote alternative energy and earn money by signing up for an e-book affiliate program. It’s a win-win-win situation.

I am inviting you to join me, Tom Gruich, to promote my HOT new product, Alternative Energy! Anyone can do this to start making easy commissions. To find out more Click Here or visit Affiliate Database Mapping.
