Shakespeare: This is sinister fascism. The Bahraini rulers are maniac killers and they brought in another lot of killers, the Saudis. Behind this fascism is the USA and you quoted what US Secretary State Hilary Clinton said and people do not quite see the meaning. She said that any government may bring in foreign troops to kill their own citizens and that means that the American government may bring in foreign troops or use its own troops to kill American citizens. I have been offered the job of Technical Services Engineer in Perth. The job is very niche and involves technical support, training and consultancy for software in the engineering sector. I have over 13 years experience in this area and I have been offered a sponsorship through a company based in Sydney. They are very confident that I will get the 457 visa.
However, what worries me is if I decide to stay in Australia and apply for permanent residency. The company seems quite confident I would have no problem in obtaining this. However, I am not so sure.
If I apply for permanent residency do I need a degree in close to me profession i.e engineering? I have degree in English (2-2) however I do have over 13 years experience.
Would this affect my chances of obtaining permanent residency?
