I’ve always synced my iPod touch to my parents’ computer, and bought stuff on my dad’s Apple ID. Just recently I got my own computer and Apple ID, and would like to sync the playlist with my music and just the apps that are currently on my iPod to my new computer. I know that I can enable Home Sharing, but I want to completely copy all of the songs and apps I want to be mine and registered on my Apple ID. Is this even possible? Should I try to put my things on a flash drive or burn them to a CD and then copy them to my computer? I would like to do this without using a software that I have to purchase or is not affiliated with Apple. I can answer questions and give more info if needed.
Thanks!

Ok, so when i sync my iphone 4 to my PC, the sync is very slow (about 20-30 seconds per song). I have tried many things to fix this but only one strange, and annoying, thing seems to fix it. It is this:
1: I right click the “start” button in the bottom left corner of the PC screen
2: I select my iphone under “My Computer”
3: I access the data on the harddrive (only pictures are accessible)
4: While the phone loads these pictures so that i can view them, the sync goes incredibly fast (about 1 song every 5 seconds)
I think that the fast sync is because the data on the phone is being accessed from another way, and maybe it is getting past some high security measure. If i keep clicking on the phones harddrive in the start menu and clicking back (then reapeating), the sync goes very fast. But im not going to sit here and click for an hour. Any ideas??
Thanks!
