Im not sure if youve heard, but I want to make a family restaurant called Larry’s family funhouse, its going to have a nice charming interior with photos of me holding a trophy, me line dancing, me in vegas winning the big one and photos of me that you get at theme parks on rides. Its going to feature the “L-bone steak”, larrys famous fish nuggets and a promo callec funky friday with meal deals, specials such as my funk steak and a funk themed disco. What do you think of the restaurant opinions and additional ideas are welcome, and more importantly can I market my famous funk steak marinade and larrys secret recipe ketchup for folks to take home? do I need a patent ect
Cheers, Big L

I selected ‘Dreams’ as my theme during the exploration phase, but I’m thinking of branching out to the idea of life being transient. I have no idea how should I go about furthering my visual research into this – I’ve drawn observation studies of clocks, flowers, bubbles etc, but it all seems very… usual and uncreative, and it won’t stand out on the prep boards that have to be submitted. I’ll be going into the conceptual design, so any suggestions would be great! 😀
For my final work, I’ll be using photography, since there’s a bit of a niche area.
Thank you!

I’m writing a novel, and I keep wondering, is this type of theme really so needed?
Teenage romance, s*x scenes, high school drama..teen stuff like. Now, I can hardy pick up a book from the bookstore that don’t possess these. It probably sells, but sometimes they can be too heartless and pointless. You can barely feel the emotions. The romance in my story isn’t the superficial type, they take time to develop and doesn’t feel the need to snog at every other page, they show their feelings through actions and encouragements not affiliated with s*x scenes and whatnot. It won’t probably attract lots, but it at least seems real. But why do they appear in nearly every new novel now?
