like if you say “I research on the internet” —–Which website? Is it a website affiliated with a newspaper? Is it a website that was published by the campaign?
Do you let newspaper endorsements influence your vote?

At what website can I find a presidential elections table that list all of the Presidents from Washington to Obama ( and who they ran against), list the party they were affiliated with, how many popular votes each had, percentage of the popular vote, electoral vote, and the percentage of voter participation?
I’m looking for a table similar ( or identical) to the one in the appendix of the text book called “The American Promise: A Compact History Volume 1 to 1877”

Aren’t 30 percent of kids in welfare? I don’t think they are politically affiliated with any party. Also, I thought poor people in general don’t vote. What’s going?

The unthinking majority are damaging our system. I think we should implement a 5 question logic/knowledge test at the voting booths. It should be intended to count the smarter 50% of voters and to ignore the vote of dumber 50%. Who here would agree with this? If we had this, we would be able to progress this country much faster.
questions would be:
1) Rewrite the following word 3 times with spaces in between: privilege.
2) 55*1000+100*6 =
3) What is the subject of the following sentence: The cat is grey.
4) Who is the current President and what political party is he/she affiliated with?
5) If two sodas are $3. Then 200 sodas of the same type would cost how much?
I know these question seem like a 1st grader can answer them, but there is an unthinking majority who wouldn’t know where to start. If we can’t get rid of these people, let’s get rid of their influence in this world.
Am I too radical? Or is this an okay proposition.

Just my opinion but from what I saw on CNN flipping through the channels, the (2) people they interviewed seemed like they we’re from crazy town. I think they we’re both from out east somewhere, but aparently this woman who won a primary can’t manage her bills, and seems to be a dishonest person in general… And the other guy interviewed seems to be somewhat racist and oddly enough is really bad at hiding it!
I guess my question is… No matter what your beliefs are, how could any sane person vote for someone like this?? Would you really want someone like this representing you?? That’s scary in itself, in my opinion. I’m not affiliated with any political party, just fyi. Personally, even if I don’t agree with a politician I still want them to be educated, somewhat rational, and can at least hold an intelligent conversation beyond “my taxes are too high” Who are these people that vote for someone like this?? I don’t know anyone like that.
