For some weeks now Miami Herald only allows subscribers to click on their articles, so I basically read headlines and then look them up on internet. Most of the time the first site to show is CBS, and at times local WSVN, which is a Fox affiliate. Now, looking up the news about the Miami doctor facebook incident, I’m so surprised to see Washington Post all the way up there at beginning of searches.

The ICCC (International Conference on Climate Change) seems to be run by the Heartland Institute even though they don’t say so on the conference’s website. Naomi Klein and other well-known journalists say the conference is a farce. Why is it affiliated with the University of Washington this year? Who could give me a good answer about this? I need to know because I thought the ICCC was a real conference, and was planning to present there.

Hey all,
I’m a senior at the University of Washington and I have had a lot of social interaction in my past. Somehow, people still don’t like me. Maybe I just haven’t found my niche. Either way, I don’t want to stop trying. So, does anybody have any suggestions on things I can do to meet people in the Seattle area? How can I make myself seem more approachable? How do I get more social and likeable?
I just want to make some friends.
