i have about $8000 something saved from working (make $8.25 an hour) and i calculated how much i’m set to make this year and it’s around $10,000 – $13,000. so i can have about $20,000 – $22,000 saved at age 20. I want to learn how the stock market works before I can play with the big boys. Any books I can read that will inform me about stock investing, etc? Any advice from YOU is welcomed!

I don’t really know what’s going on but I feel so lost and out of place and I don’t know what to do or where to go exactly. I thought I was supposed to have it all figured out by now. I’m pretty depressed and I need some change.
I want to get my bachelor of fine arts (and I’d really like to do a dual degree program to get another degree at the same time) and I also feel like I should move somewhere far away. I live in northern Alberta in Canada, I really feel like I need to leave. I’m not really sure where my niche is.
Anyways, crisis aside, what are some good art schools in Canada? (Or maybe even outside of Canada?)

The image of heaven, a society in the clouds with angels and harps and the like is a common motif in pop culture, great works of art, and Christian culture in general. Parents tell their children that Grandma is up in heaven, watching over them and will be there when they die.
Hell, too, has been portrayed as a firey, subterrainian realm filled with tortured souls subjected to any number of punishments. Satan is depicted as a red skinned demon with horns and a goatee. People talk about how child molesters and serial killers will burn in hell as soon as they die.
Yet, the Scriptures are not consistant with these images. I suspect much of this imagery comes from pre-Christian traditions, but when did they become authorized by the Church (if indeed they ever were)? If not, how did the perception of the afterlife in such terms come to be so widespread?

to your AHL affiliate roster. They will often just be healthy scratches on your NHL roster, so to check, go to Coaching Options>Edit Lines>NHL and if they’re not there, press X (on XBOX) and it will take you to roster moves and show you who’s accessible in the AHL.

I am 23, roughly 170lbs, dedicated to physical fitness, and am trying to figure out the best way to go about building a foundation for a career in MMA. I prefer to practice BJJ and/or Muay Thai.
I have researched where the top 20 best gyms are (cross referenced between FIGHT! magazine and Bleacher Report) and have narrowed it down to 4 based on location preference: Nog & Silva MMA (Miami, FL); American Top Team (Coconut Creek, FL); Penn Training and Fitness (Hilo, HI); Team Nogueira MMA (West Palm, FL). Would it be prudent to start at an affiliate in the area to begin training, then move to the higher rep gyms as I become more adept? Or, would it be better build my foundation at a higher rep gym (considering that higher rep gyms cost significantly more for membership)?
I have also considered going abroad. I have worked for UPS for 5 years and can transfer to any hub in the world and have narrowed down to either Thailand (practice Muay Thai) or Brazil (practice BJJ). I would plan to stay in either location and train for a year. Would it be worth studying and practicing the martial art in its originating country? Would it provide me with a competitive advantage that would outweigh financial costs? If so, which gyms/trainers should I seek out?
Training everyday is not an issue and neither is dieting. I have a high tolerance for pain and the drive to boot. Financially I am not made of money, but I am debt free and within my means to make something of myself.
If anyone has any suggestions on which gyms/trainers to pursue outside of what has already been suggested, please feel free to leave a comment. I am simply looking for general guidance on how to best go about pursuing this career. Thanks and much appreciated.
