Why On Earth Would Anyone Want To Reintroduce Wolves To Northeastern States?

The Northeastern states canine type predator niche is already filled by the Eastern coyote, which in the Northeast is confirmed to be a wolf coyote hybrid. So with “wolves” already here, why reintroduce them?
The Northeastern coyote, which before the eradication of the Eastern wolf, was not previously in the area, filled the niche vacated by the Eastern wolves. How on Earth would it make any sense to once again disrupt the predator balance?
Even PETA agrees that reintroduction of predators to recovered areas is not a good idea.http://www.peta.org/about/why-peta/preda…
With one of the world’s largest organizations for animal rights and anti-cruelty against this, why would anyone think that reintroduction of an apex predator to a recovered area is appropriate?

Has An Organization And/or City Ever Had A Stanley Cup And Calder Cup Win In The Same Year?

Let’s say (I’m using my favorite organization for example) the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup, and in the same year, the Chicago Wolves (AHL) or the Rockford IceHogs (CHI AHL affiliate) won the Calder Cup?
BQ: For fun, what combination can you see most likely happening today? For me it’s the Capitals and their affiliates the Bears both winning.

Chicago Wolves Future?

With the move of the Atlanta Thrashers to Winnipeg, the Thrashers old AHL team (Chicago Wolves) won’t have an NHL affiliate for next season. The new Winnipeg team is going to have a brand new AHL franchise in St. John’s, Canada. Does anyone have any clue as to what is happening to the Wolves?

Are The Wolves Going To Be The Ahl Affiliate Of The Dammed Canucks?

If true, then that is a terrible idea. Wolves attendance will drop from third in the AHL to last in a year. Who the hell in Chicago is going to support the Canucks?
