I am planning on starting a nonprofit organization, but I need help setting it up in various ways (the business aspect, graphic arts, web development, etc.) I would really like to get this help for free as I have no money and I know you can’t accept tax-deductible donations before all the legal fees are paid, the paper work is done, and the organization is accepted by the government.
So I know I can just ask for volunteers, but I think I’d be more likely to get quality help if students could gain credit from it. Does anyone know if colleges or high schools would accept an internship from an unincorporated organization? Or, could they even get retroactive credit once the organization becomes incorporated? I tried to look it up but I couldn’t find anything. I think I’ve heard of single people hiring interns (like authors or something), but I’m not sure if they need to be affiliated with a company. Thanks in advance!

As I rebuild my hope and my life in general..work on creating a niche for myself, I find myself asking when considering going out on my own in a particular career direction and/or creative endeavor that is not a typical career, etc ….?what is the point when> A) so many previous attempts/directions have fall through already or didn’t work out due to various reasons, B) I have real health limits that make it hard to just push on through like a bull and most of all…>C) there are so many others doing similar pursuits that I ask… ‘is there even a place or need for what I have to offer??…should I even bother putting it out there??
I vex quite a lot over this and struggle to continue summoning up the bravery or confidence to push past my own worries or the illusory limits of the market. Moreover I struggle with gaining the clarity to keep on pursuing something because I feel like, ‘well It’s been done or is being done by so many…so why bother?’
It’s very discouraging….I know what I would tell someone else…but I’m me and cannot seem to see past my own worries or the world. A lot of that youthful, fiercely independent and outside the box bold a$$ thinking and living was kicked out of me when I got sick and things fell apart and now as I rebuild I am doing so in a different, new fashion that is not quite as bold as I used to be. So I’m literally having to figure this out now, 10 years older and life circumstances GREATLY changed as a result of it all…etc….anywho…
Curious what others think about about pursuing something that is already done by many others, against all odds and still being positive about it?
Thanks! 🙂

I used to be one of the top students in my class and in my small “niche” when I was young. However, the older I got, the more I started to wonder what the whole point was. I easily used to get 95-100% on assignments or tests in the beginning of the year in highschool, then kind of taper off because of burnout since my physique was my most major weakness at that time. Up until then, my parent’s pressure kept me going, as well as personal interest in my studies. I enjoyed my teachers who seemed to be great motivators and mentors.
I would see certain students with 97% averages (I was friends with one of them) and kind of wonder what the whole point was trying to “be the best”. People who did this were not necessarily happier people and all the hard work and drive to prove superiority or higher achievement over another would lead to a short term feeling of satisfaction of “proving that one’s better”. Then if you were to go to the top, you would go through all the stress, competition and pain trying to maintain it…until you find another person better than you and the whole process would repeat itself. It doesn’t always necessarily mean that these people are necessarily better people either. The ones I’ve met were downright narcissistic on a pathological level (and lie to preserve a perfect image), were obnoxious, and generally not well liked either.
So what motivates these cutthroat competitive people? Their short term feeling of satisfaction of “superiority”? All that hard work, strained relationships, all for that? Or is it to please their parents?
Just wondering what you think of this.

I’m a college student, I’m actively looking for a job and only have $1400 worth of assets. I can invest a maximum of $200 at this moment. How do I become rich because I hate work, hate school, hate the prospect of life as a wage slave, love money. I want a sustainable income with this.
Oh and for everyone who wants to spam me: I HAVE tried affiliate marketing, freelancing, and what not. I HAVE made about $300 off of that. THAT IS BARELY ANYTHING!

Find bra’s for me have been a change since i first got out of hs. Even now it seems like there a few companies that make bras but for the most part they don’t very pretty and their aren’t that many choices.
First I would like to say that i’m Artistically inclined but i’m not really and artist, I don’t know how to sew. And i have never run a business. But i do know about the market and what i want and what other women that are DD+ want wear. I know that my Idea could one day with a lot of work as good as Victoria Secrets. But so far i have a lot to learn.
