I’m a sophomore in college and I’m going through what I suppose a lot of college students are (even though it doesn’t seem like it) where I’m trying to figure out where I belong in life and how I’m going to achieve a true life of my own after college. It’s sort of a confusion phase of figuring out your future, who you are, and what you want from life. I think last year as a freshman I was more lost than ever, but now I feel relatively more comfortable in my new home. I moved from a rural area to a city, so it took some getting used to, and I still am getting used to it in some regards. Either way, I’m trying to figure out where I fit in with society; there’s obviously a life after college, so I’m not especially worried about finding my place in college. In most regards, I feel like I’ve done that. However, the thought of graduating college sounds scary…in the sense that I don’t know what I’ll be doing with myself. I’ll probably get a master’s or ph.D, but even then, most graduate students have found their niche in life by that point and are engaged or close to getting engaged. They also probably have a close social support group aside from family, which I don’t know for sure if I have yet. I would say I have 3-4 close friends, but that’s about it (and it’s not a group of friends, they’re separate friends).
How can I ensure that I find my place in this city? I’m quite school/career focused and individualistic and so is everyone else…so sometimes I find it difficult to make those personal connections that truly give life meaning. I won’t feel good about myself no matter how much I accomplish if I don’t also have the social relationships. Most people I know are in a fairly long-term relationship and seem to have a lot going for them. Whereas I just feel confused and hopeful for a good future. I guess it’s not that I’m not doing anything… I get mostly A’s, have a part time job, and a few good friends but for some reason I still can’t find my niche where I feel comfortable with myself. I’m also single (and have been since I was 16) so having a serious relationship is something I’d like to happen in the next couple of years
Any general life advice? There’s so many potential life paths one can take… I think in some regards I want a fairly tradition life after college with marriage and children…since that’s what I grew up around and what is seen as desirable in my family

Can someone please thoroughly explain to me what this YMCMB deal is all about? And please don’t just spell out the acronym, i’m aware it stands “Young Money Cash Money Billionaires”. I see it is most popular among the young black community. I see it on sweatshirts, T-Shirts, young kids will hold up a sign with their fingers and shout out “YMCMB!” and I’ve even seen that Justin Bieber kid wearing a hat and sweatshirt that read “YMCMB”. Please list the people affiliated with this group as well.

I am pretty sure this is fake, but this is the second time I have gotten an invitation to the NYLC.
The first time, the letter apparently listed the wrong school. This time though, the letter listed the right school, but there are still issues with people faking it.
Although I go to one of the top magnet schools in the nation, I dont even have a 4.0 GPA (mines around 3.7, or as low as 3.5; weighted GPA is about 4.4-4.5). Whenever I get into a political or religious debate, I tend to piss people off, so neither grades nor my behavior is beneficial to such a meeting. I have seen at least one student at my school with at least a 4.8 weighted GPA and the guy is quite a charismatic one, so how can I be chosen to represent my school? Just for more information, the email is based off of highachieving.net supposedly from Marguerite C. Regan PhD, Dean of Academic Affairs. Whats unusual is that the university affiliated with the invidation is George Mason University (provided address is 1919 Gallows Road Suite 700, Vienna, Virginia). I can tell you, that although my hometown is in Virginia (its not Vienna though), I currently live about 500 or so miles away from the state. Theres enough evidence to prove that this is real…. and theres enough evidence to prove that this email is fake.
What a paradox.

washington state: i am 4 1/2 months pregnant an in a very awkward living situation. my 20 hour a week minimum wage job and less than 3 dollars in the bank is apparently more than enough for me and my new baby to get by on. the father has ran out and told me i won’t ever see a dime from him. where i currently am staying i need to be out in less than 3 months and have no family to turn to or anyone that can lend me money… does anyone know of any organizations not affiliated with dshs that could help me with moving expenses and/or very low income housing for young expecting mothers… really anything that could help me in anyway… preferably in lakewood, puyallup, tacoma, and surrounding cities.

I was thinking of making a dating website for a certain group of people like fat people or alcoholics and make it free like plentyoffish and get money through advertisements and affiliate marketing and donations or make a website similiar to chatroullette or make one for myspace page layouts. I’m just not a creative person please give me ideas you think will succeed or might succeed not just random ideas for points. It should be something that is unique and will get a lot of visitors like the miliondollarhomepage or something. PLEASE!!!!!
